Port Matilda Baptist Church is a small country church located in the beautiful valley of Bald Eagle. We were founded in 1886, and have been committed to the glorification of Jesus Christ in every way we can ever since. Through community, outreach, Biblical teaching, and the love of Christ, we seek bring glory to God in all things.

Ben Hoover
Senior Pastor
Pastor Ben has been active in ministry for over twenty-five years and in full-time ministry for over fifteen years. Prior to that, he worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant in multiple healthcare settings. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Bible from Lancaster Bible College and his Master’s degree in Ministry from Baptist Bible Seminary. He has been married to Marsha for twenty-six years. Ben and Marsha have two married sons and a grandson. Ben enjoys time with his family, outdoor activities, a “good” cup of coffee, and eating hot wings. You can contact him at pastorben123@gmail.com.
Noah Hoover
Youth Pastor
Pastor Noah grew up in Duncansville, Pennsylvania. He attended Clarks Summit University and handles NextGen Student Ministries, as well as some other ministries at PMBC.
